PS. Does this tracker support samples as it is a wavetable edition?

32 byte waveforms are samples Wink
But no the tracker does not enable sample playback longer than those.

I'll put you on the tester list for the next distribution. (might take a couple of days).

And what about supporting 2 SCC's at the same time? (2 x 5 channels) Smile

The idea is to use the music in games/demos. Adding more SCC'/MSX-MUSIC/MSX-AUDIO/PSG chips will make it unusable (CPU time). The tracker is not intended as a technical showcase.

If TT is released anyone that wants to change the tracker to its own needs can contact me for the sources.

Hello,

I'm from Valencia (Spain) and I'm new in this forum but I'm MSX user since mid 1987 and after having been user of Amiga trackers (Protracker) and PC trackers (Fastracker I & II) in mid 90's, I always liked chip and synthetic sounds and trackers that allow me to test with them (FM-tracker and Adlib Tracker on PC, in example). What can I do to get Trilo-Tracker for testing?.

As I still preseve my beloved MSX but as it's not a MSX-2 or Turbo-R one, I will only can test it through emulation (BlueMSX 2.8.3 or OpenMSX as described in TriloTracker page).

Thank you for your incredible work, I've heard both WYZ and Gryzor87 tunes made with Trilotracker and are simply amazing, so I'm convinced of getting my goal with this tracker.

Anyone got any tips for the instrument editor? I thought I'd try the easy way and copy a bassdrum from some vortex tracker songs, but it didnt work, didnt sounded anything like the vortex tracker version Wink

It's hard to tell when I'm not seeing/hearing it. Smile But first:

* check if the step on which it 'loops' (marked by the 'R') is still correct. It may have shifted a step

* you may have to rework some frequency offsets; look if the offset returns to 'normal' (000). Remember that, unlike VT, here all stated values are relatives instead of absolutes

* note that a substantial part of the sound you're trying to get just may rely on HW envelopes. TT doesn't support those. If the 'E' is highlighted in the VT sample (macro), it's calling envelope commands

I forgot to say - are you on the e-mail list of beta testers? Then don't be shy and just mail *everyone* with your question(s). Smile
Among the beta testers are brilliant guys like [WYZ] and Gryzor87, and there's also me, so just ask, and I'm positive that there's someone that'll be happy to help you out. Wink

Do you have the
MBM_CONV.IS
file on the version you're working on?
If you load that instrument set, then starting from H, there are some ready-made PSG drums as well.
