I have added two pages of DIY controllers

Both are tagged [[Category:DIY]] but only appear under category DIY hardware when I am logged. Am I missing something?

Category: DIY is a sub-category of Category:Hardware

Both controllers are also in the Category:Other Controllers, sub-category of Category:MSX Controllers, itself sub-category of Category:Hardware

You have probably a problem with refreshing the pages. It happened also in the past, but strangely not for everybody, it seems to depend on OS and/or browser. For example, it was very rare for me (Windows/Chrome) but users on Mac/Firefox had often this problem.

In that old auction (visible with japanese VPN only), we can see a black box connected to the keyboard connector of the ML-G30. I not found info about it. An idea ?

It seems to be a DIY addition.

Maybe a kind of physical protection (? dongle) to avoid unauthorized use of the computer.

Just noticed in the IO port list page of wiki, the 00h 01h Sensor Kid says "Sony" which is incorrect?

No, the Micomsoft Sensor Kid was released by Micomsoft and Sony in 1988 as Sony HBJ-H081C. The reference starting with HB is clearly a Sony reference.

Oh, I thought Sony was just using it as a marketing opportunity. I still think of Micomsoft(denpashinbunsha) first when I see the Sensor Kid though.

In fact, it is the boundary between developers, creators, manufacturers, producers, distributors and sellers that is blurred. Some even think that the developers necessarily own the copyright.
To simplify, I think we can consider that Micomsoft is the developer of the Sensor Kid and Sony is the producer and distributor of the packaging. In other words, we can categorize it as follows.
Publisher: Sony
Developer: Micomsoft

That black box is connected with that ribbon cable into inside pcb to keyboard connector pins, so probably this is just keyboard connector adapter made to suit some other keyboard than original? Maybe the original connector is even removed from pcb and replaced with ribbon cable and that blackbox.

I have another point to check about the wiki entry for sensor kid actually. I asked it before in another thread, but in the wiki it says the sensor kid basic works on any msx generation. I don't own a real one, but I made my own cart, and it appeared to be msx2 and up only? (How do you stop the cart from launching the menu so that you can go straight into msx basic?)
