Quigs pre-Alpha release for download (SymbOS IDE)

Trebmint, known as the IDE developer of Symstudio, released the successor, named Quigs today. Quigs is the development environment (IDE) for SymbOS. Developing applications for SymbOS was never been that simple and infinitive. You can easily design your FORM’s and put code behind every object. The multitasking is geared towards an enjoyable experience and it even helps you converting pixel art for your project. The editor supports intelligent typing, which means syntax of code is explained during the coding process. Quigs is still in Pre-Alpha for testing for those that want to see what can be done with SymbOS. There are some known issues, and many more improvements and fixes will come over the next days.

If you like to try it yourself you can download and unzip it into a directory. Running Quigs116.exe should put you in the Editor. Trebmint will be glad to assist you in case of issues and needs beta testers for sure!

Yes, this is what SymbOS is meant for. I'm really curios about the other platforms and will get a CPC these days.

The ultimate aim to to build a game creation suite built on top of the Symbos OS. The CPC now has V9990 support too Smile

Funny logo was designed for this news- post Wink Especially because Trebmint named his IDE to his passed away dog, named: Quigs.. and in the logo it looks like you see a Dog eye Wink

Quigs is Quick User Interface with Graphics for Symbos. But yes I did have a dog called Quigley (quigs), but thats just a massive coincidence Cool

I have no experience with this. Could this be related to the resolution? Is this direct after starting of during use?

Hello everyone, just installed and trying to run on Windows 10: I can't add a video, the file Browser hangs. I've tried several compatibility modes even Windows XP without success.

Any suggestion? Thanks.
