Sorry in advance if this question is a bit simple!

I have a TurboR ST with a V9990 card. Both the V9990 and the standard RGB out is connected to an Open Source Scan Converter. Works very well.

However since there is no sound output from the V9990 I loose sound every time I switch to the V9990 output on the OSSC since the sound come from the RGB-output. That is normally not a big issue but I managed to get hold of Ghost'n Goblins fra ASM and I would nok really like sound with that :-)

Any suggestions to how I can get sound besides from the RGB out. I have tried the RCA connection but at least with the cable I tried there was no succes and I am not sure there is sound out from there.

Thank you in advance!

The best way would be to make an audio injection in the v9990 cable's scart connector with a male RCA connector to fit the ST's audio output. That could be a bit of a job.
You could as well let both signals join in a scart splitter. Things to buy would be this cable of which you only use either red or white RCA connector and plug it in the ST's white RCA out. Join that cable and the v9990's cable in this splitter and connect that to your OSSC.

It's up to you how high end you get those parts, but it will work.

Or you connect the ST's audio output to external speakers or an old stereo Big smile

I had the same thing and with a friend I modified my GFX9000 -> SCART cable: in the SCART connector I connected a cable with a male RCA plug to the sound input pin. My normal DIN8 -> SCART cable in my turboR also has a little female RCA connector to get sound out. So I connect the male RCA connector to the female RCA connector and voila: sound on my monitor Smile

Thank you for all the answers. Very helpfull :-)

Just to be completely sure: The white RCA out on a TurboR is mono, right?

The white RCA is for image and the yellow for sound (mono).
Correct me if I'm wrong... Question
