[WTS] Nissyo DN-203 100V step down converter

I have for sale some unused Nissyo Industries DN-203 step down converters that take 220V-240V as input and output 100V for your beloved Japanese MSX computer. I’ve tested it and it is completely silent unlike many 110V step down converters I’ve tried. The transformer is rated at 120W more than any MSX ever needs. The price is €45.

It has some differences, which you can see yourself in the photo, but the price it offers is unbeatable, if you compare it with having to buy it directly from Buyee.

“Made in Japan” (= no Chinese crap) inspires confidence that it is a good quality product .

Nice to have an UT-130E alternative!

It is good quality transformer, it is higher and heavier than the UT-130. It is absolutely silent like the UT-130 and it is available (at least I cannot find a source to buy the UT-130 right now).

Off-topic, but still available at Kaigai Denki shop (Sacom on Rakuten) where I bought mine originally, and also here. But still, the point of having a good quality alternative stands and it’s good to have a choice for availability. When it comes up in forum threads I will definitely be recommending the Nissyo DN-203 as well in the future.

I added them to a Power Transformers category on the wiki, so we can easily reference them in the future.
