TASing - creating a Tool-Assisted-Speedrun - is the hobby, or art if you like, of creating ultimate run-throughs of video games. Basically the goal is to use tools to create the best possible speedrun of a game, taking out the limiting factor that human players can be (and often are). On tasvideos.org, a large community of game fanatics have published an impressive amount of amazing speedruns for a large variety of platforms.

As of October 17th, TASVideos also accepts speedrun submissions of MSX games, as openMSX is the first MSX emulator out there get formal approval for submission. The bar is set quite high, however, as a test and first attempt of a Metal Gear speedrun by Vampier was denied for not being optimized enough. If you think you can squeeze every last second out of any MSX game using TAS, by any means feel free to give it a go!
