The 1986 movie Labyrinth got molded into an 8-bit edition for the MSX system, but only in Japanese language. It is monsieur Django who faced the goblin and worded the game into English.

In the Jim Henson movie Labyrinth, featuring David Bowie (RIP), sixteen-year-old Sarah is given thirteen hours to solve a labyrinth and rescue her baby brother Toby when her wish for him to be taken away is granted by the Goblin King Jareth. Good material for a computer action Adventure game.

In 1987, Pack-in Video released the game ラビリンス魔王の迷宮, or The Labyrinth of the Demon King in English, for the MSX2 system. Based on Labyrinth the movie, but ported from Lucasfilm Game's Commodore 64 version. Also released for Apple II, NEC PC-88, and Sharp X1, the MSX2 version was in Japanese language only.

Fast forward 25 years later, the game has finally been converted to English wording. With help from Víctor Martínez, the Frenchman Django was able to get the job done. Together with a full translation of the back cover of the game box, all Japanese bytes were converted to English ones. And to top that, mr. Django also included a complete walkthrough of the game.

You will find all the good stuff on Django his web site. Have fun.

Congratulations. About the back cover translation, there is a tiny text "YIS805(128,256)". Isn't it supposed to be "(Note) Does not run on Yamaha YIS805(128,256)"?
