For the past few months, Hydragon has been working on his website, CheatMSX, adding more and more content. Here is an overview of the most recent updates:

  • Maps and manuals were added for ANMA's No Fuss and Nosh, both submitted by one of its creators, stompetower
  • The walkthrough made by wyrdwad of the game A Life M36 Planet can be found here
  • Over 130 manuals for many different MSX software / games have been added

Additionally, numerous changes to the site itself were made to improve the user's experience. Among others, no more advertising in the download links and the site's separation into different sections has been removed.

Among others, no more advertising in the download links

Download method has completly been renewed, visitors have to validate they are human by filling out a captcha ( Google's ReCaptcha2 )
This hopefully will keep out the leechers and webrippers, so far results are looking good.

the site's separation into different sections has been removed

All sections are merged into one resource, since all titles shown are results of output of all unique game id's in all sections with content.
On the game info page, you'll see under the gamecard as end result all sections in panels which will open on click, where result is available.

Enjoy!
As always any feedback and contacting me by e-mail with new content is always welcome Running Naked in a Field of Flowers

Woooo hype for A Life M36 Planet! Wink You guys should play that game. It's shockingly good! Really surprised it hasn't gotten more attention from the MSX community as a whole, as it's a pretty ambitious game from its era -- sort of takes the Maze of Galious formula and dials it to 11. Really reminds me of a sci-fi take on the NES game "Faxanadu."

I hear tell somebody's actually working on an English patch based on my walkthrough, too. Looking forward to seeing what comes of that!
