MSX sound veteran Jorito sampled the MSX (SCC, MSX-Music and MSX-Audio) for a retro sample library for Kontakt (a VST plugin). It also contains other 'PC' systems and cards like the Amiga, the C64, Adlib, Pokey and Aegis and is available now (not for free though). He also created a Quarth medley that serves as a demo tune; it uses the SCC and PSG sounds and just a bit of reverb and layers to spice it up a bit, but it would sound quite close to a true MSX rendition.

Nice tune! I wished a VST plugin for MSX sound chip like Dexed or famisynth. Super Audio Cart may be able to do it.

SAC is sample based, so it doesn't have oscillators for its sound source, but other than that it has quite a lot synth-like things you can do. Not sure what you have in mind, might be worth checking out some Youtube vids on SAC. I like it a lot for the variety of retro chips and ease of access, haven't dived into the whole engine part too deeply yet.

Thanks. I understood. I was surprised that SAC consists of a large number of samples. It's interesting.
