MSX in the Media: 9th nominee

The Japanese newspaper Nikkan Kougyou Shinbun (Daily Industrial Newspaper) published an article on the MSX Game Reader today. Takashi Kobayashi, webmaster of Gigamix Online spotted it and put a scan of the article online on his weblog over here. The Nikkan newspaper was added as a nominee for the MSX in the Media Challenge.

The objective of the MSX in the Media Challenge is to get more attention to MSX in the media. Do you think you can get MSX in the media? Did you spot MSX in the media? Let us know at msxmedia@msx.org. If you can, please send us some evidence (a picture, scan or movie) as well!

Just a small question from my side

I though the idea was to get MSX into the media, not just spotting MSX in the media?

Anway, I must say that the MSX Game Reader is one of the nicest MSX-gadgets I have seen. I know Latok made a joke on the forum about this gadget being in some Dutch Computer Magazine. Doesn't someone over here have some contacts at some magazines to get something like this actually printed?

tfh, that was no joke, dude. It's in the Dutch Computer!Totaal issue from july/august 2004 Which is a fine contestant for the MSX in the Media-Challenge as well, I think. Cheers for the MSX HCC which got the reader printed in that magazine.

By the way, the objective of the MSX in the Media challenge is both getting and spotting MSX in the Media. I think the MSX community can do a lot better at getting MSX in the Media though. So, come on guyz! Take your best shot! Wear an MSX T-Shirt to a happening where camera's are spinning, mail your (local) newspapers and magazines about recent developments in the MSX world, nag your favorite non-MSX websites with news on MSX... this should surely result in some nice MSX media coverage!
