A new year, a new month, a new poll! Prior to presenting the new poll, let's have a look at the outcome of the poll from December. How have we spent the last two weeks of 2007 regarding MSX? After 314 votes, here are the final results:

  1. Nothing 16.56%
  2. Finish one or more MSXdev'07 entries 16.24%
  3. Gaming 15.61%
  4. Something else 14.97%
  5. General developing 14.01%
  6. Finish a product for Nijmegen'08 11.78%
  7. Finish one or more SMRC entries 10.83%

The results are somewhat equally spread, without a winner which is miles ahead of the rest. Also, the amount of votes for certain poll options may be a bit over the top ^_^. Nonetheless, it made us decide to extend the Scene Music Remake Challenge, which resulted in one new entry already and some more entries are being made as we speak. The MSXdev'07 choices may be based on each member of a group casting their votes, perhaps this number should be divided by 2 or 3 to get an idea of the amount of scheduled entries, who knows. If the votes for the Nijmegen product would only be true for 20% then things look good for this first MSX fair of 2008.

The new poll is another short one, you could have seen this one coming already: the new year's resolutions! For two weeks we'd like you to think about and vote for the new year's resolution you wish your fellow MSX users to fulfill most of all.

If you have an idea for an interesting poll, send your idea to poll@msx.org and we will consider running your suggestion for a month.

A considerable amount of persons voting!
The results weren't unexpected after all ...

After this, I still have one question: Where are the LABELS and manuals of some 'finished' entries !?

If their are not included on the final note / score ...

Sure a JPG/PNG plus a text file don't appear to be a great thing for some individuals, even if the manual can be bigger as a PDF file!

Best Music could be great too, since MML and BASIC are allowed ...
Another cool options would be the Shooter category!
