The immense popularity of the Final Fantasy series sometimes makes you forget that Square Enix have yet another brilliant RPG series that found its way to the MSX platform in the 1980s: Dragon Quest. On both MSX1 and MSX2, the first two installments of the game were released: Dragon Quest in 1986, and Dragon Quest 2 in 1988.

This year, this game series is celebrating its 25th anniversary. In cooperation with Fuji Television, a special exhibition takes place from October 8th until December 4th in the Mori Arts Center Gallery, one floor below the Mori Art Museum in Tokyo, Japan. In a gallery floor of 1000m2, a lot of Dragon Quest games, artwork and merchandise can be seen in action. Furthermore, a special Luida's Bar is serving Dragon Quest themed food. For those who aren't fortunate enough to visit the exhibition in person, a special 25th anniversary website at least gives a little impression of the exhibition in Japan.

aha, congrats for DQ Smile

to be honest, I never played those games. Are they any good? Maybe a translation would indeed rank this game a bit higher Smile
