The Dragon Slayer series started in 1984 when Nihon Falcom released the first game in the series for the NEC PC-88, and later porting it to the MSX. This was the birth of a long range of games, including legendary MSX titles such as Xanadu, Sorcerian and The legend of heroes. A big part of the Dragon Slayer series is now bundles in one big collection called the Dragon Slayer Chronicle and contains the following games:

  • Dragon Slayer
  • Xanadu
  • Xanadu scenario II
  • Romancia
  • Dragon Slayer IV (Drasle Family)
  • Sorcerian
  • Lord monarch
  • Advanced Lord monarch
  • The Legend of Heroes
  • The Legend of Heroes II
  • The Legend of Xanadu
  • The Legend of Xanadu II

Beside the games, this massive collection, that will be released in the spring of 2012, will also feature scenario cards with illustration of the games. In addtion,a member of Project EGG can buy the package at 8801 yen,1000 yen cheaper than the regular price.

but the SNES version is not made by Falcom Crying
to me, the best original version is the X68000 one.
Anyway, it will be the "not so bad" PC98 version in the pack.
