Mechanical Sprites of msX

While working on our MSX hardware database we encountered a fun hobby project from a Japanese MSX fan. Back in 2007, Shimizuhouse started a project that combined MSX and Manga to create "Mechanical Sprites of msX". A Mechanical Sprite is a piece of Manga artwork that renders a (Japanese) MSX computer as a Manga character.

In the initial lineup from 2007, 13 different MSX models were turned into cute Manga girls and accompanied by a short biography. Amongst these are the famous MSX models like the Panasonic FS-A1ST (original), the Sony HB-F1XDJ (original) and the Fujitsu FM-X (original). And now there is a second lineup that features new MSX models such as the Pioneer PX-7, the Canon V-25 and Sony HB-101 and HB-201 twins.

Of course Yamaha YIS805/128 and Yamaha YIS503IIIR ! Especially their Russian versions with network module !!
