Metal Gear Rising E3 trailer

Konami has released the E3 trailer for the latest addition to the Metal Gear saga: Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance.

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is a spinoff of the Metal Gear saga that takes place several years after the events in Metal Gear Solid 4. The game doesn't feature Solid Snake as the main character is not Solid Snake, but a cyborg ninja. The game is also more action driven and doesn't rely on the stealth for which the series is known and which saw its roots on the MSX. The game is developed by Platinum Games, and Kojima Productions takes care of the plot and the character design.

Metal Gear Rising will be released for the Xbox360 and the PlayStation 3 in early 2013.

In the same way than the recent Castelvania, different company develop the game... yes probably nowadays this is the normal method in the games industry but in my opinion it loses the Konami-Japan essence a bit...
