Zaragoza gets Videogame themed street names!

The Spanish city of Zaragoza has just unveiled Super Mario Street, the first in a series of 12 streets to be named after classic video games. Other games that have been deemed worthy enough to get a street named after them are Sonic the Hedgehog, Space Invaders and The Legend of Zelda. To our knowledge, it's the first time ever that anywhere in the world a street is being named after a video game. Perhaps we can start a lobby to open up Penguin Adventure avenue or SD-Snatcher boulevard?

I live in Zaragoza and these new "streets" and "avenues" are ghost streets and ghost avenues. No building is there and there are people waiting for more than 6 years paying a house/flat/appartment which is not being built...

Also there are no copyrights problem, because an important executive of Nintendo Spain was born here.... but actually, I think is stupid to put names to ghost streets... first, your home, then... put the name.

Over the years, Space Invaders, Gran Turismo, Zelda and Tetris have been added to the game themed streetnames. And it looks like at least something has been built there...
