Hmm, what's the added value? Compared downloading the games and playing them on real MSX or free emulators (usually better quality than egg proprietary ones). Any project egg members here that know?
For example I like the way Microsoft/Nintendo provide retro games on their consoles with online highscore tables, updated "HD" graphics, achievements, or even online vs play. Adds a lot of value and is even cheaper than project egg.

1) it's legal
2) there is no MSX Falcom games on Nintendo and Microsoft virtual consoles.
3) Discovering the wonderfull PC88/98 versions.
4) packaging, manual, color cards, stickers, original soundtrack of Drasle family MSX version
well, a must have for all the fans of the dragon slayer series Wink

well, not for me, PC88 is the original version, PC98/MSX/FMTowns/X68k versions are ports by Falcom themselves, and other versions (PCE, SFC...) are licensed by another companies, not the work of Falcom.
besides that, i don't like in-game vocal narration and i prefer original chiptunes BGM than audio CD tracks.

Hi Feiraco,

Getting DragonSlayer Chronicle (ドラゴンスレイヤークロニクル) is a bit tough unless you have a way of buying things in Japan through a proxy service or happen to know someone with a Japanese Bank Account.

You can actually order it through the Project Egg Website, but again you have to have a Japanese Bank Account to be able to do it.

Another option that may or may not be open to you is to see if you can find a way of ordering it through Amazon.co.jp.

And lastly, there is another store called Game-Tandeidan that claims to be able to take a credit card and offer international shipping. I'm currently trying to place an order with them, but I have not heard back so far.

Hope it works out. I hear it's a fantastic set.

Thanks very much SkyeWelse! That helped me on my way, and maybe it helps others too:
What I did was ordering it via Amazon.co.jp. There are options on that page to display text in English.

But Dragonslayer Chronicle cannot be shipped to Europe. So I used a mediation website called http://www.tenso.com/en/.

So I managed to buy Dragonslayer Chronicle which is now shipped to an adress in Japan of Tenso, and they will ship it to me. Of course, they'll impose charges. I will let you know my experience if/when I have received the box.

So I promised to give some feedback, and here it is! The process was perfect and I received the package quite fast. It's a very nice box with the contents as described in earlier posts. What I especially like are the coloured game cards, very nice!
