MSX Magazine 3 - April 28th | MSX Resource Center

The release date of the third edition of ASCII MSX Magazine has finally been revealed. On April 28th, 2005, MSX Magazine 3 will hit the streets. It can already be pre-ordered at Rakuten, 7&Y and bk1. The main contents of the magazine are:

New version of MSXPLAYer + skin changer
20 MSX games, including Princess Maker (Microcabin), Chaos Angels (ASCII) and Kung-Fu Acho (IREM/ASCII).
MSX Computer revival after 10 years: The introduction of the One Chip MSX
Interviews with Kazuhiko Nishi and others
Information on MSXPLAYer for cellular phones
Information on the history of MSX in Russia and Arabic countries, written by Bernard Lamers with the help of several visitors of the MRC

As it seems, MSX Association is to introduce both the One Chip MSX and MSXPLAYer for cellular phones later this year. On the MSX Magazine 3 website the cover of MSX Magazine 3 has already been revealed, showing both the One Chip MSX board and a cellular phone (Nokia 6600) running an MSX game.

It's in Japanese, yes ? For me it means it's just a collectible item - because I can't read it.

It clearly states the following:

"These games and MSXPLAYer are only the Japanese versions,and this book can be shipped only within Japan. It is because export to a foreign country cannot be performed by the contract."

Oops. Not for gaijins.
