Tuesday we reported about the release date of the third edition of ASCII MSX Magazine. Today, Gigamix Online reported that little is known about the specific contents of the magazine yet, but that some titles that are delivered together with the magazine were revealed at D4 Enterprise's Amusement Center. These are the titles that are confirmed to be delivered with MSX Magazine 3:

This third edition of MSX Magazine 3 can be pre-ordered at Amusement Center for 2940 yen (about 22 Euro) as well (only in Japan, however).

theses games that comes with the magazine are for MSX or for some kind of emulator? Are they complete or demo? Do they have their manuals? And last but not least, what media do they come?

Thx

Can anybody tell me whether ASCII bought those T&E and other titles in order to sell them with the magazine ?

As you can read D4 Enterprise is involved also. D4E is probably the corp that arranged the licenses for MSXMAG distribution. ASCII is the magazine's publisher.

...add to that... the games are full versions, not bought, but -licensed- to be distributed on CD-ROM with ASCII MSX Magazine 3. As with previous editions, part of the magazine contains descriptions and shortened manuals of the games.

Three new editions of the magazine and Konami, probably the most important company for MSXers, still doesn't appear Sad

I think Konami likes to stick very close to their games, and want to do re-releases themselves. E.g. on mobile phones, or ‘retro packs’. That is probably the reason that ASCII hasn’t been able to acquire any Konami licenses.
