POKE -1,170's Airwaves #7

As of today the seventh edition of POKE -1,170's Airwaves is online. This radioshow, broadcast on Enschede FM is - like the fourth episode of this retro radio show - completely dedicated to the MSX computer system. Not only does POKE play several songs suggested in this forum thread, the top 3 of the MRC Airwaves Challenge are broadcast as well. You can download an mp3 of the show right here. thanx abi quite a lot of work (since I hadn't seen any other demos then the FAC ones when I was a kid so I had a whole lot of catching up to do).
It's a good thing MSX didn't limit itself musically,with all the different soundchips to use. It's what sets MSX apart from everything else.

Poke, you really did mess me up! My face was propably worth of having a look at when the authors were listed. I was waiting for g-spot name and I was like "Who? What? When? Where?" I had to listen that three times to figure out, that yeah, that's supposed to be my name!

Then I thought that you have wrong artist and you mean Sieni Pakottaa (because that is from ALT and it has bearable music), but then I felt even more stupid as I had just listened the stuff and it definately was not there! I had not felt anything like that before, I was just so completely and utterly lost!

Rewind!!! and yeah, my "music" was there! :-) The most stupid thing is, that fist time I actually thought that "Sounds familiar, I know this" but then the ANMA stuff started, so I was just thinking something like "No, I was wrong, this does not sound familiar, I was just mixing this up with something else, pretty weird start BTW"

Hmm... What should I say!? I just didn't see this coming when you were searching best MSX musics, but hey! I've just become airborne music artist! :) You made my day!

I didn't realy understand what you mean here...ehhh are you g-spot? Or is finnish unpronouncable for the american speechprogram I used so you couldn't hear it in finnish? I used a small part from this altparty demo I got from Benoit, the part where a sprite walks to a house,then some funny explosion and an error in the demo..I used it as the most abrupt break I could find from the previous music,I couldn't come up with a transition between the msx music/audio and PSG stuff....

So ehh what did you want to tell me?
Hope I didn't do anything wrong,not my intention...

not knowing if you made any music,and thinking the PSG part was cute,I made a break with that intro and the anma stuff...that anma track also had a similar strange intro so I put the 2 of them right after eachother

No, I'm not g-spot. I really meant to give only positive feedback! :-) I think, that I tried so hard to give positive feedback, that I failed. :9

The american speech program was not the main problem, the problem was, that I had not yet regognized the "guy hitting a stupid red wall" sound and there was my name mentioned in a place where I really least expected! You know, it is like hearing your name in Oscar gala when you were not even in the guest list. :-)

yeah thought it was a nice unsuspected entry,and as an incrowd thing for the people here at MRC (including you) hahaha so it got noticed faster then I thought I realy liked that demo a lot by the way...finnish humour in demo's is unsurpassed...do you know amiga group limbo from finland? they had the funniest stuff

Well, maybe we are just a bit odd people. When I did that demo, I didn't even know, that demo should have a name, so when they asked for name, I was like "Is that mandatory?" I really had not been in ANY demo event before the release. So... after all it got name "En mä oo vielä keksiny" free translation: "I have not yet figured out." Hungarian... I've been told so (although I can't see the similarity.) Last time I forgot to say, but I really didn't solve the mystery, that this "...from Bandwagon's demo Facikaho" was actually Merituulen karaisemat. :9

(BTW that pussy stuff should be written with double "t" :9)
