PSG.MOE #01: Soul on desert

On September 6th the PSG.MOE website was opened. This music competition challenges composers to make arrangements of popular pop and game songs on PSG. This time, the composers picked a song from the Desert stage of Sega Rally 2, called Soul on Desert. At the moment, contributions from Hackurl, DRM, Wiz and Daria can be obtained.

yep indeed, the first competition they held has some very nice versions...
the shinju track from DRM using the buzzer effect,which I never heard on the msx
(only on ZX spectrum and atari ST)... hope DRM will make a cd one day,
I'd buy it
perhaps enough feedback will encourage them ^_^

Isn't the Buzzer Effect changing the frequency of an envelope (with tone) in every cpu interrupt? If it's that, mate, it's been already done in MSX. It's not a difficult effect to acquire.

By the way, the song by DRM is very good.

dunno, I think it was done by jochen hippel (mad max) on the ST...
anyway,never heard it on an msx
might be,at drm's shinju track you hear it the first seconds in the track.
not familiar with it on msx, though on spectrum and ST.
indeed,the track is coooool !
