Sander van Nunen, founder of the MSX Resource Center, found a couple of pictures he took on the MSX fair in Tilburg of 1990. He scanned them, added some nice comments and put them in the MSX Photoshoots section. Here you can have a close look at the first years of this legendary MSX fair and the first steps of the active and large Dutch MSX Community in creating their own (disk)magazines and software. MSX Futurist -as shown on the photo's - merged with LoVako shortly after this fair to form the well known MSX club "MSX Engine".

Please add some comments if you recognize yourself or other people you knew back then!

As of now the MRC Photoshoots section contains more than 1000 pictures taken on MSX meetings all over the world. Do you have some nice pictures to share with the MSX community? Don't hesitate to send them to photoshoots@msx.org and we will add them to the photoshoots section.

By the way, we're not 100% sure if this actually was 1990, it might very well have been 1989! If anyone can confirm the year on which this fair was held... we'd appreciate it Wink

Yeah, I actually had hair back then. :-)

BTW: I'm really looking for photo's taken between 1989 and 1993 at Tilburg and Zandvoort. That was the time I was really active and MSX Engine started to grow.

I personally would love to see more pictures from MSX meetings in Japan, Brazil, Spain and other countries of which we didn't even expect crowded MSX meetings. Well.. face it.. pictures of -all- MSX meetings from 1983 to present are -cool-. Don't hesitate to scan and send your pictures, guyz!
