MSXdev'05 - Status update

Today the MSXdev'05 status page was updated with 4 more entries, 2 of which already have been completed. The following 4 projects were added:

  • Pair Logic (finished), by Andrea Gasparrini - A version of the classic pairs game coded in BASIC
  • Tragaperras (finished), by Jordi Sala Clara - a slot machine simulator coded also in BASIC, recovered from the ancient tape times!
  • Parachuteless Joe (work in progress), by MsxKun (Paxanga Soft) - A strange skydive simulator with the humour included in all the Paxanga productions
  • Escotoma (work in progress), by Madonna Mark II (Guzuta Raster Leisure) - A promising shoot'em up from the winner of MSXdev'04

At the moment, no less than 20 projects have been confirmed dor the MSXdev'05 competition. You can find more details on the status of these projects and download the finished games from the MSXdev'05 status page.

20 new MSX1 games in 1 year. Is it 1984? Hell no! It's 2005! MSXdev rulez ^_^

btw, did someone see Don't Warro Be Japo on the Paxanga page?
I tried to download it, but the ZIP seems to be corrupt. It does sound fun! Smile (Just like Parachuteless Joe!)

And still there are some more games to come, if I am not wrong. I guess that we are going to have a very busy Christmas holidays this year! Wink
