In less than 36 hours, 2008 will be a goner. And still, Brazilian map expert only_69 manages to spice up the last days with three new maps. Fabio Albergaria, to use his real name for a change, has made maps for: Jack the Nipper (Gremlin Graphics, 1986), the follow-up Jack the Nipper in Coconut Capers (Jack the Nipper II) (Gremlin Graphics 1987) - do you remember that elephant wearing sunglasses from later BCF demos? - and Jungle Warrior (Zigurat, 1990). As always, these maps are an interesting resource for map designers and MSX1 artists. Even the monochrome graphics from Jack the Nipper can be an interesting study in cartoon drawing. Whether or not you are a gamer or a game developer: enjoy Fabio's latest efforts!

Will the fun ever stop?

With this map, I might even be able to actually finish Jack The Nipper II! Smile

I believe I already had this Nipper II map from one of the MSX Gidsen. But nice to play as it is, just like e.g. Monty I never knew what the real goal of this game was.

By now I know that you have to use the collected items in certain places. But I'm still not sure how to use them. Is there a key for that?

(Like the fact that you can enter airports in Monty, I never knew that back in the days and just walked around...)

The goal of the game is to complete the pranks in a predetermined order and you will have access to the temple to finish the game

Now THAT's something that should have been in the manual! (Or was it?)
Thanks!

Erm, no. Down+fire doesn't do anything here.
Edit: ah, when you're standing on exactly the right place it does something, otherwise it gives zero feedback. That's truly something impossible to find out without the internet. No wonder I never finished this game :-)

Hi, I found a link on YouTube on how to complete the game and did the same, but I have a problem. The link is as follows:
https://youtu.be/UAytdpfTz-w
From the video, at 47:50 minutes it seems easy to kill the wolf ... but I can't ... It doesn't seem like you have to do it like using other objects (cursor down + fire). How you do it? Thanks ;(
