Does anyone else have the issue where entering the config menu/saving config freezes the program? Sometimes, opening the window, you only get the option names in white text on a black background with no cursor or option selections (example, you get the "Keyboard" text but no Japanese/International selection), or the full config window, but upon hitting "Save configuration" it locks up.
Real hardware, FS-A1mk2, MegaFlashRom SCC+ SD 512.

Sorry for the double post, but it seems it only happens if the VDP frequency isn't 50Hz when starting the program
>Starting MSX in 50Hz, everything works fine
>Starting MSX in 60Hz, successfully opening config, switch VDP to 50 Hz, program freezes
>MSX at 60Hz the whole time, program freezes

And now there seems to be another issue where the program locks up after reaching row 07 during playback. Music still plays, but the whole thing freezes/accepts no input.

Yes, I'm using the 0.9.0 that's on the trilobyte site.

@ ImATrackMan : I wrote about config menu freeze problem twice I think, but nobody noticied it.

Inside I put the blame to TriloTracker used being a home recompiled version with sources taken on @ GitHub cornelisser/TriloTracker and also sjasm compiler used being built from sources taken @ GitHub samsaga2/sjasm.

Nonetheless can You speak more about the problem, please? I used a Panasonic FS-A1FX with MegaFlashRom SCC+ SD 512. How can VDP possibly run @ 50 Hz on a Japanese machine?
Thank You.

I'm still very new to the world of MSX, but I'm pretty sure that I have this right. Software has the ability to control the blanking rate of the VDP. You can't FULLY switch between PAL/NTSC, but you can switch the refresh rate, so this tosses out a signal that mixes the two (in my case, NTSC color and 50Hz blank. TV in the garage shows a scrolling color picture, while my PVM shows B/W but with a stable picture). With the MegaFlashRom, this is done by holding F5 while booting. After opening trilotracker, you can open and save the config, but if you go to the VDP frequency selector (50Hz|60Hz|AUTO), switch it to 60 or "auto" and try to save, it locks up.

The other issue is as simple as "press F1, program freezes at row 07"

Hmm, pretty weird.
At first thought, I can't think up anything that would freeze the program at those points in the program. Especially the row 7 issue. Very strange.

I will take a look at it asap, as I did before. But previously I was unable to reproduce the issue. I can only use emulation for your setup as I (sadly Crying ) don't own a MegaFlashRom SCC+ SD 512 or FS-A1FX.
Would help if openMSX would emulate the newest MegaFlash (hint).

Um, as far as I know, it does... MegaFlashROM SCC+ SD was first emulated in openMSX 0.11.0, released about a year ago.

Since I'm interested in TT, I can play just a few tunes but they are all great ones,
I add to the thread that I have configuration page problem but I don't have any replay problem.
My setup : Pan FS-A1FX and MFR SCC+ SD.
And on my pc I cannot compile from sources with sjasm TT Re-player.
And I would love to read some extensive manuals. Thank You. Wink
