According to YouTube user Yoshihiro TakaKI you can hold the 'y' and 'p' keys while booting this specific kind of MSX2 to show a scrolling list of staff members. If you don't have one, or are lazy, then you can just watch this video showing the staff-roll.

Cool, I wonder if any other MSX has "easter eggs" hidden feature like this. Good find!

That's a funny (and original) one... HBF1 works as well indeed...
Now that all those ROMs are accessible by emulators, maybe some whizkid can find more of those... Would be nice Smile

Probably many others have too!

Now I wonder why they used "p". Panasonic?!

y came from "Sony".

y came from "Sony".

Looking at a japanese keyboard the hiragana found on the p and y keys are "se" and "n". Now, "sen" can have many meanings, but I think the following kanji might have been intended:

撰 -> anthology (of poetry, etc.); compilation; collection; selection

There are several words that start with that kanji, but again, the most probable in this case:

撰者 (senja) -> author; compiler; editor

So, p and y map to "se" and "n" which is the reading of the first kanji 撰 in the word 撰者 which means "author; compiler; editor".

Just an (educated?) guess though, I might be completely wrong Wink

Cool. This is also present on the HB-F1 II, and at the end of the credits it plays a voice sample which sounds like "It's a Sony"
