Hi!

>between 5 and 10 - >between 10 and 20? - >Between 20 and 30? >more than 30?
Short answer: 5-10.
I bought none, as I was too young to have enough money to buy MSX Games =). When I was old enough, none was for sale anymore.
There was a lot of piracy at the time, but I believe we had around 5 originals (only one cartridge, guess which one!) - probaly bought by my parents, or maybe my brother.
After 2010, when I started collecting, I've bought dozens of originals.

October 1984.
Technically, I did not buy it. It was given to me by the importer because I had bought a Spectravideo a few months earlier based on the fact that it was supposed to be an MSX, which it wasn't. So my parents took up legal action for false advertising, and they won.

6 - Estimate how many originals games (or software) you bought at this time (in '80 '90) ?
More than 30. Games on cassette were not that expensive. I could buy one every two allowances (or three, for the times I gave in to the temptation of the broodjes kroket at the school cantina). I also bought/received some cartridges, but the tapes add up to around 40 or so. I still have them.

Jack the Nipper II. My sister loved that game, and wanted to play it all the time. I didn't like it at first because I couldn't get that far, but it grew on me.

Yeah, for my 486SX 25. I stayed with PC up until the later Pentium models.
10 - Do you think your current job, have something to do with the MSX?
Absolutely. I started learning Basic soon after I got my VG-8020 and have been coding ever since. I'm a frontend developer at a web agency now. It's still a bit of a dream (maybe a fantasy, I don't know) to make and release a game written in ASM for MSX. I seriously daydream about proudly manning my own stand showing my own game at a fair. :)
