I sold my C64 in April 1985 to buy a Sony HB-F75P for the gained money. Without disk drive of course.

Oh, yes. I couldn´t wait after I saw the Sony HB-F700D running a graphic program. This was in a shop in Stuttgart. There were five shops that I know that sold MSX stuff. What a glorious time!
As a student, it was to much money to buy a Sony with a monitor, so I worked in the afternoons and weekends to buy a
5 - If yes, what year? Which Model ?
Philips VG 8235 with a disk drive. It works with my ancient tv and didn´t needed a special monitor.
This was a big step in computer history for me. The drive allowed me to copy games, but I bought a lot of original software.

7 - If you think about your first MSX, which title comes instantly to your mind?
The very first MSX game I played in a store was Athletic Land. I played Eggerland Mystery to dead, but the title that comes first to my mind was Battle Cross from Sony. I was so disapointed to burried such a lot of money for that crap. This was way before Nemesis times. Most time I spend with Creative Graphics.[/i]
8 - If you think about your first MSX2, which title comes instantly to your mind?
Of course Vampire Killer. I didn´t believe it, when I first saw the game. And I had to do mailorder. It was always a risk to buy a new game, as we all know, there was no internet that time and magazines had a big delay in reporting new games, if they did at all. Also Usas blowed my mind, and more than others: Designer.
9 - Did you leave the MSX at a time? For which computer ? and when?
I really worked and played a long time MSX only, until I bought a Playstation in 97 and a G3 Powermac in 1999. As I went to another town, I stored my MSX items in my parents house until I signed in msx.org and had to pick them up again in 2007. This way I never had owned a WIN/DOS computer. Lucky me, hm? But I´m sure my experience with the MSX shell made a lot of understanding DOS based machines easier.
10 - Do you think your current job, have something to do with the MSX?
I teach computer workshops using MSX computer and often use MSX items as subjects in our photographers lessons. Of course I had to do a lot of other things to earn money, but that´s a start. I studied and worked as a graphic artist before and that´s what I owe to MSX for sure.
11 - Please indicate your home country (When you bought your first MSX)
