Yes, just leave out the components from the area that is marked with white border.

Yes, F4 port is optional and doesn't need to be assembled. Only one capacitor (100nF) is recommended to be soldered on F4 port area (I will provide instructions).

Is it full MSX-Music compatible or the FM is accessible via I/O only?

If you add the EPROM with BIOS (I will provide the file), it will be fully compatible with old and new games, but of course the SRAM feature will not work (as it's not on the board).

The YM3413 of MSX-Music can to be accessible via I/O but also by address (like megarom registers).
I think nobody use the second method. I just want to know.
