well, the surprise could be in the gift that Santa Claus will bring, and not in our game.
I said only "wait and see"...
There's this Topografie series (the helicopter game) which was greatly improving my knowledge of topography in the '80s. It's Dutch only however, so perhaps somebody could make a translation?
I am not totally sure if we are talking about same game, but in case it is same game, it´s translated to finnish language already, at least it´s Commodore 64 version is, NOT msx2 version. I think it was called "Maailmankartta" ( translation: "World map" )

Years ago I test played Dorodon, and what I remember from that, I think Dorodon´s gameplay was somehow different than Lady Bug? Lady Bug was pac-man style game with gates, I remember Dorodon had no pills to eat but you had to catch monsters between gates. Right?
Thanks for pointing some more children games, thought I am not sure if those are suitable for just few years old, but year or some older, but thanks anyway! :)

wait and see, you could be surprised...
December is close...
Hmmmm... I still don´t know what surprise game you guys are talking about! ;) :D Year ago viejo said same words and MSX world got "Night Driver". :) Well, I hope you have either "early eighties surprise" or some "suitable for little children surprise!" LOL!:P

Very close on both accounts... Just 3 months wait!
And What about Gods (Bitmap Brothers)? it must be too hard to realize, not?

What about a DDR type game?
Something like a game featuring all SCC music out there (or other well known music), where you have to play a certain part yourself.
By the way, it would be nice, if you could add those missing animated "how-to-play" titlescreens to ports, Slotman! But I´ll be VERY HAPPY for straight ports too!!!!!!! We need more great Colecovision ports (with Shockwaring, of course!!
), like your Montezuma´s Revenge port!!
There's another Coleco port almost done... which I should show on MSX Jaú, and isn't either of those two games you mentioned... get ready to be surprized in November
ok, i will get ready.
Something like EPYX´s 4x4 Off Road Racing, but this time with better graphics and IN-GAME music!
To see and hear what I mean, please check www.lemon64.com select "Games", type 4x4 to see 4x4 off road racing, click screenshot, then click "Music: Listen Online" and choose last screenshot, zoom it to full screen, listen music and imagine that this is new MSX game. Graphically it´s almost MSX game! :) Note that original Commodore tune plays faster than Spectrum arrangement. Actually, I don´t know if there is ingame music in c64 original, but that familiar tune suits nicely to this driving game! :)
Damn ... That C64 soundchip was good ...
BTW, seems quite close to the Moon Patrol arcade tune
