Marble Madness and/or Gyroscope conversion or clone in SCREEN 1. Surely doable.
if someone can do 2 pixel scrolling in SCREEN 1, I really don´t care if there are some colourclash on edge of ravines as long as game scrolls smoothly enough. It may be playable with 4 pixel scrolling too... as Spectrum Gyroscope was FLIP-SCREEN based.... and it was still somewhat playable...
There are NO such like games for MSX like Marble Madness!
MSX2 conversion is nice too of course, but I feel there is bit more challenge to make it for MSX-1, I think.
GUITAR HERO for the MSX
Well, somebody has made it for the Commodore 64: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WyCMM6e1Lbo
where you can also use your very own Toy Guitar from GH3 for playing it
To be honest somebody has already made a DRUM MANIA clone for the MSX2: http://it.youtube.com/watch?v=NBaYI7VAskE
and then... why not a Guitar Hero for the MSX? ;)

What about Bubbler?
Ultimate Play The Game had fancy graphics back in the days .

I have seen a MSX 2 version of Marble Madness made in Basic a long long time ago.
For MSX 1 Xyzolog is not THAT far off from the Marble Madness concept....

Totally agreed. And that game rocks!
Xyzolog is single screen non-scrolling game...
but I didn´t remember at all that Bubbler was some sort of marble madness style ball game, or maybe spindizzy style? Must try it someday.

Xyzolog was one of my original favorite... it would deserve a newer MSX2 port with scrolling and more options !
Sounds like a nice VSCREEN project

Got a couple more to finish before starting yet another one.
But that one would be rather easy.
