Rampart

I love that game because of the mix of arcade and puzzle. Even the NES version is as fun to play as the Arcade.

Pencioner: do you think the ball trajectory would be better possible on r800?

Geijoenr: Never knew about rampart, but that game looks like fun!!!

Another game that would be great on MSX: Zuma Deluxe. But it has a lot of stuff moving at the same time, so it might be a bit over the top for a plain MSX.

Wizzball for MSX2+ or T-R (because it really needs smooth scroll)

It's hard because of the limited resolution on MSX, but I would really like a galaxy-conquest strategy game like Star Wars: Rebellion (Supremacy in the U.K.). Such potential... And especially the fact that it works turn-based makes me think it could be doable on a Z80.

@Manuel
The original game Puzzloop is simpler than Zuma.

Oh Paragon_Leon: you are absolutely right. I already loved games like Daiva 4/5 Schwartzschild 1&2 and Legend of galactic heroes, but Star Wars Rebellion or Masters of Orion (2) would be amazing... And perhaps it would become a little more possible with a Graphics9000...

Thanks, I never knew about that! (All I know is that my mom loves to play Zuma...!)

@Randam: I always tried to get into Daiva 4 but got stuck upon placing bombs with your mech on a planet surface. The space battles were great, but Rebellion really had that strategy aspect and micro-management aspect to it that led to weeks of play. I even continued playing after I basically wiped out a side, apart from 1 planet. I isolated that one and then started to develop the galaxy, piece by piece allowing the opposing side 'back' into play. It was the absolute sense of control that was so unique. Hard to do on an MSX, but a screen 7 RAM-enhanced try would be worth it in my book.

Some of the ideas I had for a (never made) sequel to Construction Craze had elements of Rebellion in them.
