Toggle bit 1 and you toggle NTSC/PAL.

I found the "problem" with the Zemmiz Neo. With the Zemmix works fine too. This machine is NTSC native. When I change to 50Hz, the machine changes the frequency of the screen to PAL, but not the subcarrier frequency, and the first monitor where I tested, don't accept this mix of signal. I tested with a Sony Trinitron tube monitor, and works fine.
I've seen that in a PAL machines, the subcarrier is always PAL, and the same with a NTSC machine, the subcarrier is always NTSC.

There was a small bug in the boot block. The current frequency of the display was shown only if there is more than 1 page of entries. Now it should be shown regardless of the number of entries. The file has been updated. If there are no issues, I will put it into the repository.

While I have some coding rush I added the status line on the bottom of the screen that shows frequency, volume and page numbers (current/total). It looks like this now:

Hi,
Does anyone already installed symbos succesfully on a carnivore with a (dual) ide2cf adapter card?

I assume the bios of the carnivore is based on the sunrise (ide)bios, so the existing symbos sunrise driver should work(?)

The new boot block has been released in our repository. We will see if it's possible to make this setting survive a reset. But that is only possible with firmware modification. The switch will work for games that don't need a reset and for disk-based games.

Same, i tried to install Symbos yesterday, without any success

The dual card adapter is not supposed to work with Carnivore as far as I know...

With the last version of SofaRun which includes a full compatibility with our Carnivore2, we have now a perfect piece of hardware !

Aleste2 rom version, Super Mario World, Pointless Fighting, etc... All is OK

Thk to 8bits4ver, to RBSC and to Louthrax !

The boot block has been reworked. The font and layout have been changed. There's a new cursor and new volume control icons. Also the screen colors and their palettes are now controlled by variables, so it's easy to compile the boot block with custom color schemes. Beside the standard ones I have now put the boot block in black, green and blue color schemes into the corresponding folders in the repository:
