Yes the config was OK but as a Manuel suggested I was not trying the proper games !
I tried with Aleste cart in slot 2 and C2 in slot 1 and FM sound is detected and working OK so my C2 works perfectly
(BTW ONLY way I was able to get FM sound playing R-type was using a fixed version on DISK)
