But is really NTSC that bad ? Do the MSX 2+ or TurboR suffer from the same problem ?

For computers?
Of course ... like when you paint the screen 5 with only two colours and you could clearly see three!!!
Is color blending a feature like paper designer?
Composite is usually bad on most televisions, by the way PAL televisions use a higher resolution (some were very cool! Maybe people would need a quality TV set) ...
Anyway, on Brasil newer televisions are dual systems (some were tri-norm) comes with composite and some other connector like S-Video or Component (no RGB or SCART).

Trying to digitize a video using a PCI TV card is a pain, sometimes there were weird or bizarre effects on screen! Maybe someone could need a Time Base Corrector ...

Use the VGA or even the RGB feature on the same connector.

The problem is so big that previously some people (really) believed that even a MSX2 would require a RGB monitor !!! Talking about unreadable texts and inconsistently colour on composite monitor.

No, the quality is not that bad. The problem of the composite video signal of the 1chip MSX is that it uses a very simple video color enconder (vencode.vhd)
It is better to use the FPGA capacity to implement other hardware enhancements. To get a better video signal you can use S-Video, VGA or RGB, so I think ESE Artists' Factory took the right decision.

I noticed one thing ... The 1chipMSX does have two slot connectors, but their are positioned very close. Probably, not all combinations of extra big cartridges would fit into the limited space of the case ... the exception is if someone could use a extensor cable!

[EDIT] Nulled my post.

Just (my) doubts about the (Japanese/any) OCM which (if I'm honest) didn't really add any relevance to the discussion.

I just came back from Tokyo with an OCM under my arm, but because of my lack of knowledge I wasn't able to load any game from the SD slot. I have been looking all over these forums but i stll don't have a clue. Is there any guide that explains step by step how to do it?. I apologize in advance if I'm asking something that it was already answered but sincerely I can only find some bits of information here and there but nothing that really shows how to do it from step 0. Thanks.

Using EP.COM:

EP FILENAME.DSK /B /R (for single image)
EP NAME???.DSK /B /R (for multiple images)

if u have many dsk, after reboot, press:
F7 to enable the disk image changer
0 to 9 to confirm (dsk0, dsk1, ..., dsk9)

ps. press CTRL after reboot if required!
