My cassette deck was not... a capacitor was at it upper voltage limit and had stated to leak.

Just want to add that my voltage measurements was done with the computer on. The svi power connector pinout is 1-------2 ---3-4--- 1 and 2 is 16V 3 and 4 is 9V
