I just released a video about my latest repair: An SVI 728 with glitchy video out.
I'm sure this is nothing new to MSX experts, but I was flabbergasted to find out the keyboard ribbon cable was just soldered directly on the board and then held in place with hot glue 
Same for the cables connecting the auxiliary board with power and video. That was a total pain to work with the computer!
Bonus content: A second SVI 728 working but without any color in the video output.
