Loading CAS games on an SVI 328

I'd like to load some games on an SVI 328. I have the CAS files for them, but what's the best way to load them? Does the TAP/TZX/CASDuino work with the SVI 328? Is there a different device that works better?

Failing that, I'd like to convert them to WAV and load them by playing them on a computer. But all the links to SviCas2Wav are dead, and the one going to an archive doesn't let me download the binary. What's the best way to convert a CAS file to WAV?

Thanks!

Just in case you will need the cartridge for 328:

TZXDuino will play the SVI TSX files but the SVI has a specialised cassette port I believe so you will need some form of adapter.

There is the new project SVI-CAS which will play the SVI CAS and TSX files and you can buy a specific adapter with it.

If you Google you should be able to find SVI CAS2WAV but make sure you don't get the MSX or Atari versions.

Yikes! You're right! I don't know why I was thinking it had a regular audio jack input. That's a bummer!
Any idea where I could buy an adapter?

I finally got around to going back to this project and ended up building a TZXDuino and a (not very elegant but functional) adaptor to load games. The good news is that it works like a charm, the bad news is that it took a lot longer to get it working than I expected.

In the next video I'll FINALLY get around to looking at the SVI 328 games catalog and seeing what exactly is different from a regular MSX.

Speaking of which, does someone know why music is SO horribly bad and primitive in the 328? Just lack of experience? Because it's the same AY chip as MSX/Amstrad/Spectrum+2, right?

I guess it is same problem as with other Spectravideo machines... The output just cuts very badly. You can get much more nice PSG sound if you locate the common resistor after mixing channels together and multiply the ohm value by 25 or so... As side effect you will hear also other SVI sound sources much better. (Such as Z80 and PSU)
