Sometimes others post reactions in a thread while I'm also typing a response.
On some other forums I'd get a warning about that and the chance to cancel my posting because it no longer adds anything new to the discussion.
I think it would be nice to have that feature here as well.

We'll put it on the todo. Don't expect anything soon tho, you know who's coding the stuff, and you know -I hope- he's not going to be in the mood for a while. I actually want the same for us newsposters, to prevent more ppl posting the same newspost at the same time.

Totally useless! Just copy-paste the URL to a new tab and refresh it before you press Submit.
I do that on any active forum, it's not a big deal.

BA-team Likewise planes are totally useless because you can just use cars and ferries instead!
Murdoch but planes are so much fun to fly!

Seriously though, if all the forum coding has to be done by a single person then the MRC is presumably quite vulnerable to personal tragedies and illness. Not a good thing I would say.

Well, MRC is a hobby-thing eh. Shit can happen. Btw, it was my estimation that snout does the dev'ing, actually I don't know. It's never really a topic internally and when I discuss possible future MRC thingies I do it with snout on IRC orso..

Mainly PHP. Can be quite a pain in the ass to maintain, and as snout is most comfortable (out of all 7 admins) with the code, he's fit for the job. Actually, I doubt any of the remaining 6 admins having seen any code at all Wink
