A new take on a classic concept, hitting bricks with balls. This time bricks are balloons, and you'll pop them to exit the stage.

From the stables of Hakogame studios comes the MSX1 game Balloon Buster. Use the cursor keys to control the projectile vector and fire at will to make sure you crush as many balloons as possible. Run for the exit and pop your way up the ranks of that high score table!

For extra lives, type "CHEAT" (in caps) at the title screen when it says to press a key to start.

Interesting! The top border of the screen (at least in the first level) isn't reflective like the other sides, though? So maybe have that look different?

Good idea! I like it but, it crashes after a few minutes of play. Sad

My best so far: 18800. Simple yet fun game. Good amount of effort put into the level design, plus I also like the graphical style (flat colours and soft curves in the clouds and bushes).

I think I got an odd bounce once (a vertical bar, and I shot the smile at it from maybe 5 o'clock, and the tip reflected the ball back down.
