Conflict with Philps music module and the Sunrise CF IDE interface

Hello,

I have those two cartridges hooked to a panasonic a1wx and when I try to use the music module, the samples are messed up and the FM crashes the msx completely (hard reset required). This happens even if I boot the msx holding the INS pressed to avoid the interface's bios to initialize. Is there a patch or something that allows both the music module and the ide interface to coexist?

Maybe it's a power problem. The Music Module uses quite a lot of power... Possible solutions: "upgrade" the power supply of the WX or use a slot expander with external power... But OK, I don't even know if this is really the problem.

Did you already try to clean the connector of the Music Module and maybe put some air on its PCB, to clean it on the inside?
