My MSX has been collecting dust lately and I can't seem to find a decent flash solution for playing MSX games. So with that mind, I'm on the lookout for MSX carts. I'm only interested in loose carts, and I'm in the US so keep that in mind for shipping.

Hi, have you tried the Mega Flash ROM SCC+?

This works perfectly for me, if I want to play a game cartridge.

I've had some problemns with 1 or 2 romfiles. But besides that, I was able to flash the card with all romfiles (all konami games for example) I have on my CF card. My guess was, that the downloaded rom file was corrupt. If you want the 512kb version, there is one for sale now on marktplaats.nl

The problem with the Mega Flash is that you have to flash it with ROMs loaded on a disk, and I have an FS-A1 without a floppy drive so that's not an option. I was originally thinking of using that with a Nowind interface, but the Nowind doesn't seem to be available anymore.

I'm just looking for anything that catches my eye, not just Konami carts. You can send me an email with the carts you have if you'd like.

I use it in combination with the CF Reader for Sunrise. You can order it at their website. I've a 2GB card (FAT16) containing all the ROM files that I have.
Besides the CF card reader I also have a MMC/SD card reader. The advantage of that one is, that you can easily use DSK file next ro ROM files

I upload games to my MegaFlashSCC (old version, 512KB) using the cassette interface plugged to a PC/PDA/MP3/CD player. Works great but needs some time to load the big ones (without compression, Solid Snakes takes about 28 minutes to load).

About the non-MegaROMs (or better, non memory mapped), you can load them using microwaver, waver or any other tool around without adding further hardware to your MSX computer.

Don't you have to make a FAT12 partition for that to be useable though? My FS-A1 doesn't have a floppy drive so I'm not sure if that'd work.
