During the yearly company BBQ, I was taking to a colleague about games (including msx) and he told me about an msx1 game that he used to play. I have no idea what game that would be, so I thought, I'd leave it to the real MSX brains here.
The game shows 3 lanes (almost screen wide), mostly straight, but he wasn't sure if they were 100% straight or that they might have bends as well. The player hangs from his car, shooting left and right . Other cars with bandits pass you and you can take bags of coins from them.
I'm not sure, but your description reminds me the game Gangnam. It's the only one I know with the player hanging on his car and shooting bandits that come in other cars. And you can take money bags and diamonds while driving.
