(in English, for the other membersSmile
Thats why you not answered on my F4 suggestion, I didn't know that you was working on a alternative methode for the F4. Is it possible to use this method (without F4 latch & modifyed ROMS) into NMS 8250/55/80?

I read your post and wanted to react on it later, but totally forgot about it. Sorry about that.

The roms I posted where originally meant for a 8250 so yes it's possible to mod a 8250 without F4.

Hey, no problem.

Awesome, I already (in 2017) have modify my 8250 to 2+ with the F4 latch. So I can experiment with it and remove F4 and add your modify EPROMS. Just curious, but I think it will work. It is an improvement with your upgraded ROMS.

If you just want the changes in the rom I can make a version with F4 support. If it's already there you might as well use it Smile

If you could do that, that would be nice!

What do you get if you type this after powering on the 8250?
?INP(&HF4)

Because there are normal and inverted implementations of the f4 register apparently...

255.

I have now of course added F4register (added 2017 when I modifyed it to 2P), but the idea is to remove this hardware add and use the software add.

That's very nice actually, because I'm making a automatic detection of the presence of the F4 register.
You can test it for me Smile

If only it was possible to distinguish between a normal and inverted f4...
