Got my book in Italy a couple of weeks ago as well! Incredible book! Anyway not sure I understood completely: is this only part 1? Any timelines for part 2?

I'm enjoying mine for some days, thank you very much for your fantastic job.

BTW, I found a mistake in page 164, "The Goonies 'r' Good Enough" uses a external PSG plus the SCC (the real cartridge I mean) and works in all an every MSX version in their minimal configuration:
MSX1 8kb Ram
MSX2 64kb Ram/64kb VRam and UP

@wimpie3: If all has gone right, I receive my book today Any future plans for another book on other software companies or was this a one time only thing (I can imagine your are done with writing after this mamouth task )?

@wimpie3: it would be great if you could do another book with other software companies like Compile, Telenet, Bit2, HAL Laboratory, Ponyca, Taito, Casio, ... because it's true that Konami was one of the best companies at that age but there were lot of excellent games from many other companies There were also excellent underground/homebrew games made by UMAX, KAI Magazine, ... that could be covered in another book

@wimpie3: Got the book yesterday and it is excellent. This book realy does honor konami. So many little facts (and cheats) I never knew. Reading this book let's you realize how awesome most konami games are just looking at the graphics.
I would recommend this book to everyone who likes konami games and has a lot of time for reading a book. Thank you for your work wim, and thanks to the proof readers too (the must have been busy for weeks too).

Fantastic book!! Thank you Wim. I truly love it. Your effort really shows.

Minor corrections:
1. Page 652: typo: does'nt -> doesn't
2. Throughout the book, it says things like "did you know it takes at least 27 minutes to beat the game". I'd probably phrase it "did you know it is possible to beat the game in 27 minutes"? As the former implies it is impossible to do it in less (unless you really meant that).

I ordered the book from Amazon.co.uk. The book came in a damaged shipping carton and the book itself had some dented corners. I sent it back. I ordered a second copy from Amazon.de and it's just delivered. Fortunately in good condition.

The book is amazing. I'm very happy with it. I grew up with MSX and the Konami games were my favorite. Now I have a very big, very heavy and very well made book with great pictures and everything I always wanted the know about the Konami games, and more. Much more. Great!

Mine (from Amazon.de) was also a bit damaged, I contacted them and they offered a 20% refund. I accepted that. I don't want to bother with returning it...
I am not too happy with the printing quality though. The colors look a bit too washed out for me. But hey, nothing I can do about that.
