Yes Manuel, I'm not too happy with the quality either. Currently the book is printed on large inkjet printers. Switching to a laser printer increases the book price to over 90 euros. If there are people interested in spending that much money I could consider a 'deluxe' version.
Thanks for sharing the info about the partial refund that Amazon offered you, @Manuel! I did the same and got also a part of the price refunded. I think other people here who reported damages in the packaging (like @Lazzeri @Pencioner @svBEERs @jsepl @bas.alicante ) would also be interested in knowing.
As the book wasn't available long time at amazon.de, I did order it at Blackwells.co.uk.
The book arrived very well packed and in a very good condition, two weeks after the order. Happy.
My damaged edition, was replaced by Amazon. I'm glad that they don't pick fights over these things and instantly replace it (I didn't have to send in pictures, they took my word for it!).
Received my copy from amazon uk. The package was damaged, but the book is almost intact.
Local post put the amazon's box inside a special plastic bag with a printed apology message saying something like "sometimes sh@t happens, we are sorry".
My children were happy to see screens from games they are familiar with.
