Hello.

I am Andreas from Austria, nearly 42 years, married and with two great boy 3 and 5 years old.
I'm also be proud to be part of the german Retro Podcast "Retrokompott".
I heard the long episode about MSX and it was amazing.
Markus, Michael and Jörn did a great job and woke up my interrest on MSX.

I never was into MSX, i know there is a computer, but never saw one in real life.
So i was fixed up and wanted one for my own.

I allready own a lot old 80th Computers and PDP11/60 from Digital. But never had an MSX.

So i tried to get my Hand on one and finally i got a Sony HB-70P for y quite good price in good condition and i also ordered a MegaFlashRom with SCC and SD to have a possibility of transfer data.

So, waiting for the card to arrive.

Welcome to the scene, Andreas.
This is Markus.
You will quickly feel at home here and you will certainly find a lot of important information here.
MSX has attracted many interested people in the last years, with good reason. No other system offers you such expansion possibilities.
But to explore this you will find a lot of help. Just contact us if you have any questions.
By the way, the first part of our eight-hour podcast starts next Monday, if I remember correctly. It was really strange to talk about this topic in German for so long. But in the meantime a few german speaking users have contacted me. Maybe we'll organize a first user meeting in southern Germany, when the world will turn again.

So maybe i'll be with you on Sunday at the recording session with Patrick and Robin.
And yes, a german speaking group would be nice :-). Jungsi also owns a Sony HB-70P and porbably would come to a meeting in southern Germany, or Austria *g*.

Would be cool if you come to the Stammtisch today starting at 21:00.

I just listened to Markus and Michael on Part 1 That was a great exercise for my German level... Especially Michael's voice was very clear and not hard to understand.
Is only the Part I part about MSX? Or are there more MSX topics in that episode 113?

OK, but the Part I in epside 113 is the only chapter of the podcast that has MSX content? (And in two weeks, again, only the Part II and so on will have MSX content?)
