Please remove this thread, as it's totally messed up in several levels.

I'll probably get banned after this, but I must sincerly apologise of posting that april fools and have taken that particular one offline. I did have great doubts before posting it...

So it was not GuyveR800 who posted it, but me.If you had great doubts, then why did you post it in the first place? And with implying that you posted it, you also imply that someone else made up the 'joke'. I'd like to know who this was. The 'joke' also seemed to have a serious undertone, so I'm curious to find out in what way exactly I have abused my father's disease. With you and Patriek Lesparre being responsible for the contents of MSX Banzai, you still have been part of something that is hard to forgive. Clearly there was no one in the MSX Banzai/#msxdev team who objected to the joke in any way for almost 24 hours.

There's nothing funny about saying that I abuse(d) the disease of my father. A line like that can only have the intention to hurt. Even on April Fools. Whether my father had already passed away or not, does not change a single thing about that. I opened up on something very private on the MRC to let people know why I temporarily lost my motivation to post news on MRC and I'm deeply shocked that someone uses this as an opportunity to hurt me.

I have no problem with anyone being against MRC, Bazix and/or Snout, but the fact that some people are prepared to go -this- far only to hurt me is sickening. If you want to explain what I/we are doing wrong and what I/we should change or why I/we should stop use facts, clear argumentation and reason. Now, the throwing of mud, spreading of FUD and the intention of hurting people has only reached a new low. If you have to be so hateful, low and immoral to make your point (what point, exactly?) clear, then you -are- in my opinion a disgrace.

By posting this 'joke' on the MSX Banzai website alone you, BiFi, have done something that is hard to forgive. I do appreciate that you have removed the 'joke' and apologized, though.

p.s. the 'gay pride' April Fools is not particularly tasteful either. You're not hurting me with it, but I think there are few people who can laugh about it. It tells more about how you guys think about gay people than it does about me, eh?

as for the banning part: you might have noticed that we don't ban people for apologizing on the MRC, we do ban people for -not- apologizing and cooling down, but instead turning up the heat, though.

..and this one is also getting boring, childish and tiresome.. It's something even my 12yo niece wouldn't come up with anymore, she's too mature for that already.

This is a matter of taste, but isn't a personal attack. You can debate weather or not you can find this amusing. The other april fools 'joke' was a direct and personal attack.
