Visited the RCM today in Leicester. All go for next Saturday (10th September 2022), no shortage of CRT monitors. The room can safely accommodate probably 5 or 6 systems. I will be taking an MSXVR and a Sony HBFX1DJ, along with my C2, MRFSCC+SD, and Playsoniq Supersonics cartridges. The RCM has a number of MSX machines too.

We will have three generations of MSX at the fair and possibly a TurboR, Andy, who runs the museum said it is lost! How would anyone lose one? Seriously, he isn't sure where it is. Having said that I (and the RCM) have no software designed to use the TurboR features.
They have a PX7, so maybe we will play a dual mode version of Nemesis? Rest assured there will be plenty of photos on the MSX UK facebook page, and maybe here if I can work out how to post some.
Those wanting to attend, they have a refreshment area, away from the machines of course. There is also a small Tesco store opposite. and for those wishing to smoke, I am afraid it will have to be outside.
FINALLY.... after the CV lockdowns and closures, the 2022 UK MSX day is happening on 10/9/22 at the RCM in Leicester, several lovely machines will be there, and maybe a TurboR, if the museum can find it. We intend to step up hopefully before 10 am, but, please be patient if we are not completed when you arrive. They have a massive collection of other hardware and software, so it could be a fun day for anyone!
Sorry, it is a year late! Hopefully, the museum will be open, I have not been told anything different, since there are some places closed because of the death of Queen Elizabeth 2.

Sadly, although the RCM was very busy, only two of us turned up for the meeting. We packed up about an hour ago. We might have been there for over four hours but time flew by!
I finished Aleste2 completely! The "pause" button on the Sony proved very useful! First time I played it, some code to cheat?
