I recently bought Life on Earth and Myths and Dragons and a Powergraph Lite. All great! Except.. I don't yet have a slot expander, so I can't use my FM from my C2 as an additional cartridge. I also got the rom files with the physical roms, so I wanted to flash the C2 and use it for both the rom and FM, but I have been unsuccessful in flashing it correctly. I may have used the wrong mapper, or there may be more low level config settings to tweak.. did anyone else manage to make this work?
Maybe try to disable Nextor from the Carnivore when booting ? IIRC, those games are ROM to disk conversions using MSX-DOS2, and I think that 2 MSX-DOS 2 can't live or even boot at the same time on MSX.
There are boot-time key combos to prevent Nextor booting from a given slot, that's described in Nextor's documentation.
Hi all, so both games start when the Life on Mars rcp is applied. I did not get far into them but I assume that means they will work properly (i.e. won't break later when other parts in the mapped rom are used).
